stem cell from cord blood or bone marrow?

I really dont know whom to consult for BMT in CMC Vellore after Dr. Manman chandy has retired.Are there any other hospitals available in India.As I have also my sisters cord blood stored is it safe to go for transplant.Is there any financial assistance available from Govt. of India or any NGO for transplant expenses.please help.

Theres Dr Vikram Mathews at CMC Vellore,who has taken on after Dr Chandy. You can also consult Dr Revathi Raj at Apollo Chennai for cord blood transplant. For BMT theres also Dr Dharma Chaudhary at B L Kapoor memorial hospital,Delhi.
