Re: Sadelain's Research

According to me if one Genetic condition (especially if its a blood disorder) can be cured with the method, then with all likelyhood it will be applied across the board. But, I noticed from the article the scientist has recently applied for a patent (which in all probability he'l get it). But to bring it into the "real world" it's another story, and lot of research and trials have to take place, and ethic board and FDA need to be convinced about the procedure. So there's hope certainly and let us pray for the same. Take care.

Re: Sadelain's Research

Hi,

As Pidzaman says it will take some time for it to reach us. Just keep the hopes up. I am hoping Dr. Sadelain starts a clinical trial soon. I have been hearing about gene therapy, butyrate therapy etc etc right from the my childhood, but I am still waiting for something solid .

Keep the hopes! Will post if something solid happens.

Regards,
Namitha
