why we doubt our self???

do u ever hear question such as :
can i run full marathon
can i study and work together?
how i tell to employer that i thal
can i pregnant
how i tell about my thal to my couple

how i....
can i...

we doubt our self very often, dont we???. confidence maybe a expensive price that thals must paid.

I don't look at these questions as doubt. In my view they are simply accounting for a physical limitation. If our different physiology can be compensated for in some way, then it would make sense to take any extra precautions or measures that may help us perform better. I don't remember who posted it, but someone was talking about the way our smaller hemoglobin carries oxygen being of some benefit to long duration aerobic activity. Wouldn't it be cool if the disorder actually provided a benefit in some activities!
