three years!

Dear members and friends,

I have contributed to thalforum for the past three years. Through my own desperation to find some help, I found you and you became my extended family. The past year, I haven't contributed as much due to struggles with my own health and work life becoming demanding, but I have tried to keep up. Many members have been picking up the slack and I am grateful.

I have received many thanks and criticisms in private messages over the past three years. Most comments have been positive and I hope that even if my advice was not 100% correct, it was a step to the right direction. We're all here because we have been somehow let down by science. At the same time, there are some wonderful people out there in the health professions making a difference.

I would like all of you to renew your faith in yourselves and in science. I include god in the science part, but that is just me. I think that medical professionals and any people who try to help others should have faith in their intuition, trust their path to knowledge and never stop seeking knowledge, exercise their empathy capacities beyond the ordinary and understand that they too are human and possibly flawed. I try to do this and I get better at it. It is a daily quest.

I want to thank you all for all that you have taught me with your experiences, energy and compassion. It has been a great journey and I intend to help as much as I can.

Sincerely,
Marientina

Re: three years!

Marientina,

I think your posts have been very value-able. They bring up thoughts in the right way. Just seeing your posts brings up the energy which sometimes lack here. We do understand that personal lives (health, work) are issues so you may be able to contribute less or more, but when ever you get a chance do pitch in. Your posts do show a great way of pen-ning the thoughts.

We wish you the best with your health and will be happy to see more posts (but also want to see a 100% marientina). Good Luck with everything

Re: three years!

Congratulations on three years Marientina! I am a relative newcomer but hope to be able to contribute where I can and for as long as I can. This site and posts like yours help to remind us all that we are not alone and we all have something to contribute to support each other. Well done!

3 years is your hard work and dedication that shows on this place and in severals PMs, replies and responses you received and continue to receive from members of this community.

The personal time you dedicated to this place has given members of this community hope, a sense of belonging, a feeling of comfort; of knowing that they are not alone, it has given them guidance to ask the right questions and seek the correct answers.

Our community and especially myself have gained from your inquisitiveness and then your research. As an administrator, I am glad to have you as a member and your patnership on Thalforum has prooved very valuable to the community.

I know there are lot of things 'to do' still...& many open projects - but we'll get there eventually.

Congratulations Marientina! on completing 3 years with Thalforum and THANK YOU for being with us in our journey to seek knowledge on this information superhighway.

Vikram
