well spleenectomy has been a big issue for me in the past years.
actually in 2001 i was going through labcoly(removal of gall blader) and the hametologist of that hospital advised me to remove spleen as well. i was totally confused that why to remove spleen?? although it was giving me small troubles but was not in the situation of spleen removal ....so i took the advise from my seneior hematologist and he strickly adviced us not to remove it until and unless it causes u any harm. thankx to him..and now im with my spleen doing perfect....so my sencere advise to everybody is that never think to remove any organ by just thinking that tommorrow it may cause problem..thats wrong ....ur each and every organ is precious and it has a function at its place and its helping ur body to work ...but if an organ troubles u and the only solution is the removal of that organ then go ahed seeking the proper medical advices...and always remember TO TAKE RIGHT DICISSIONS AT RIGHT TIME it improves the quality of our precious lives.
